Celebrating 30 years as the
leading cybersecurity VAD
The e92plus story
In 2019, e92plus celebrates our 30th birthday – and it’s been a fantastic journey! Our story started in 1989, when connectivity was all about the first networking cards and software that enables Personal Computers to share information, not least with the one in the corner that had the modem to downloading email. The focus was quickly established on cybersecurity, and working with the first network security firewall and gateway devices, as well as anti-virus software that provided protection against early malware.
Throughout our history, we’ve established a reputation for identifying, signing and building channels and UK business for some of the biggest names in the channel. From early pioneers such as Hummingbird Communications and Netscreen to established giants such as Trend Micro, Websense (now Forcepoint) and Barracuda, e92plus has been at the forefront of innovation and emerging technology to help organisations defend against the latest threats.
The charity partner for e92plus 30 is Princess Alice Hospice, a fantastic local charity at the heart of our local community.
Their team of specialist nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers and bereavement volunteers work at our Hospice in Esher, and with families at home. They are all experts in end of life care who put compassion and respect at the heart of everything they do.
To help support the fantastic work of Princess Alice Hospice, we're working with them on a series of events through the year. These include a fantastic Charity Shop Challenge - where teams of e92plus staff are given time away from the day jobs to help run a retail shop for a day! With fun activities, live music and competitions, they'll be competing with each other to see who can raise the largest amount of money on the day!
Want to support our fantastic teams? To add to the money they're raising for the Charity Shop Challenge, you can donate directly via their JustGiving pages, and all the money goes directly to Princess Alice Hospice. - you can make a donation by click either of the links below.

Internet Safety for Kids & Families
One of the key activities as part of our 30 year celebrations is our drive to share our knowledge and experience with the community. To help drive that, we’ve partnered with one of our key vendors, Trend Micro, and joined their Internet Safety For Kids and Families Program (ISKF).
Trend Micro was established 27 years ago and with more than 5,500 employees it is the largest independent cloud security company in the world. Their message is simple when it comes to promoting online safety in community: Be Great at Being Online!
The ISKF program was founded in 2008 by Lynette Owens, Global Director for Online Safety at Trend Micro. The program aims to raise awareness and provide education to parents, teachers, and youth on Internet safety issues. It is designed to achieve this through partnerships, volunteerism, grants and donations.
Throughout 2019, e92plus staff will be out in the community with schools, clubs and community organisations delivering the programme free of charge.
Interested in ISFK for your organisation? Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll see if we can help!
