About the day
e92plus is hosting an invite-only executive roundtable, giving you the opportunity to network with your peers and discuss some of the biggest issues in cybersecurity. The event will include lunch, open discussions and the thoughts and insights from our guest speaker – former NCSC CEO, Ciaran Martin. It’s a unique opportunity for a personal conversation with someone who has been at the core of the UK’s cybersecurity strategy and frontline battle.
The session will be reported on but conducted under Chatham House rules, to allow for an open discussion.
About Ciaran Martin
Ciaran was the first CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). In September 2020, he was appointed Professor of Practice in the Management of Public Organisations at the Blavatnik School of Government, the University of Oxford. Prior to joining GCHQ, Martin was Constitution Director at the Cabinet Office from 2011, helping to agree on the framework for the Scottish independence referendum.
From 2008 to 2011, he was the Director of Security and Intelligence at the Cabinet Office. His public service career has also included a series of roles elsewhere in the Cabinet Office and in HM Treasury and the National Audit Office (NAO). In January 2023, Ciaran joined the SANS Institute as director of its CISO Network and Summits EMEA.
